Trying to make my quilt a bit better with Bub's template and administration stuff. I couldn't figure it out at first but I'm getting there now. Hopefully I'll be all done before I go back to school next week, I hope it all works out [fingers crossed].

Quick update I have finished my biology exam, I think it went alright, I didn't get to answer the very last question because I ran out of time but it was only worth one mark and I didn't know the answer anyway (the question was why copper is an important source for both plants and animals). Oh I have the GAT (General Achievement Test) on Friday, the GAT is like... well I guess you could kind of call it an IQ test. I'm also thinking of starting a new section on my website under Extras: The Buffy (my cat) Journals, well we'll see how it goes anyway.

Just back from a trip to Sydney for the Judo Nationals. My dad is a Judo Ref. so we travel almost every year for judo, the best trip so far was probably our '06 trip to Tahitti (I think that's how you spell it lol). Hmm... I guess I'm a bit prejudice but all I could think about the whole time I was in Sydney was that I missed Melbourne, but then I didn't get to see the Sydney Harbour bridge, The Rocks or the Sydney Opera House. Oh but the double decker trains were awesome. I also have my Biology exam tommorrow so fingers crossed. Oh and Qbee update I got bee of the week at the end of May X D

Yes! I finally got excepted into the Quilting Bee, I'm so happy : D I've traded with 3 members so far any my quilts really strating to look good. I designed a teacup for the tea party and I even participated in the Quilting Bee Bees forum. On another note I have an excursin on Monday, we are going to look at some of the universities for next year to help us make decisions. I've already decided that I want to do a Science degree at Melboune (for subjects I was thinking Genetics, atmoshere and Marine science, Physics, Chemistry, Domestic Animal Science and three more (we have to do 8) then I think I'll try to transfer into Vet Science in the second year.

I had a bit of a crises a few days ago where I abruptly decided I wanted to be a teacher rather then a Vet. I mean why try for something that is so impossible to get into? Its seriously the hardest course to get into and to do a teaching course has much lower requirements. Then I thought over it for the rest of the day and I reallised that helping animals is what I really want to do, there are plenty of Vets out there and the course isn't there to be impossible so there is no harm in trying. I think I feel even more motivated then ever now to go for it and just try my hardest!

Ahh sweet Sunday, I went to the city (Melbourne) with my friends today we had a great time. I saw a movie called Prom Night, one friend was petrified, the other wasn't fussed and my third friend chatted alot throughout the movie. Its funny how differently people react to the same situations, I wonder if its something in their natures to react in these ways or their upbringings.

It's my parents anniversarry tommorrow, isn't it weird how little we know about our parents lives before we were born? You always figure that one day you'll find out more or maybe you just don't even consider that they even had a life before you were born. Its funny to think that they may have had a great adventurous life or a totally romantic meeting but we'll never find out because it never seems to come in regular family conversations.

Well life at school weeks are the same as always; living for the weekends. I can't wait until this year is over and done with, I have heard that University is alot more free then High School.

Its the long weekend YAY! I have four whole days off and its my nieces birthday so I have a party to go to and my friend invited me over for a sleepover so it should be a pretty fun holiday. My mum said we might even go to Gold class ( thats a luxurious movie theatre) and I'm thinking of getting my hair cut.

Eeep! I have SACs (assesment tasks) coming up soon, I hope I'm ready for them, all the results will directly effext my enter score at the end of the year. In house meetings they have started doping quizes some questions are riddles and they're kind of fun.

We had swimming day, I was in nearly every event (I didn't win any ribbons though). Head of our house gave out certificates to the students who helped out the most on the day and I recieved one!

So far school hasn't been too stressful; the work load hasn't been to bad and the free periods really help. We've already had photo day but I bet it will take forever to get the photos.

Ok I have officially started year 12 now. There was a new girl at the school who has the same name as me, we made friends and she was really cool. This week doesn't sound too hard; we have started mid-week and tommorow is a day that is dedecated just to a group who are teaching us leadership skills and coorporation.

Well yesterday was my birthday and I had a great day, we went to the pools and afterwards everyone came back to my place. It was a long but really fun night and I think everyone had a great time, I got heaps of cool presents to wish is always a plus ;)

Well it's getting ever closer to my birthday but the scary thing is that once I've had my party the holidays will practically over. On the 30th of January I have to go back and start my final year of high school -GULP. I'm afraid but at the same time I'm looking forward to the future, after this year I can really start paving my future. Plus I get to see all my friends again lol. Oh and I'm planning a comments page for this site so that you guys can have your say, but it could be a while yet (I'm not exactly sure how to make one).

My niece and two nephews came over today we had heaps of fun and next week I'm going swimming at the wave pool with them. Driving lessons went well, my driving instructor said I had improved alot. My birthday is on the 19th and I'm going to have a beach party so we are going to check out some beaches tommorrow to find the best one for the party. I'm really looking forward to it! I've never had a beach party before.

Happy Holidays! I hope everyone had a great Christmas, mine was great. I got some nice prezzies and had a great day with my family. My Nanna got me some driving lessons, I hadsome at the start of the year and they went well so here's hoping I do well with these ones. I think I'll spread the lessons out so they last longer, my first is booked for January 4th.

Last night was my presentation evening. I got my report and it was pretty good, YAY. I'm just waiting for the results for IT Applications, they'll come on the 15th of December. For now it is the holidays and I for one plan to have a nice relaxing break!

Oops, haven't updated the blog for a while now, been a bit preoccupied with the discussion board and my exams. Yep exams have started, I'm two down (IT Apllications and Maths Methods) but still five to go! YAY! Our house won the debating competition and I was on the team!! There are eight houses at our school; McConchie (my house, purple), Leaver (yellow), Woods (green), Clark (brown), Trigoning (red), Creese (dark blue), Millett (light blue) and Rich (orange). Well I've made a new website as you can see, I hope everyone likes it!

Not that much going on, I'm hoping to become a member of The Quilting Bee. It's finally Friday, thats such a relief, year 11 is really hard and I have so much homework. With exams around the corner I have a lot of work to do this weekend but if I work really hard tonight I may have some extra time on Sunday to see a movie with my friend : ) I'm going to apply for House captain for 2008, so fingers crossed!
